The GB contingent knows that the realization of the significance of GW as a real issue versus the made up Iraq/WOT BS, will be the key to real leaders assuming control of the country. Yep it's politics..

so if everyone here is in the same choir it will be fine.. otherwise.. there wil be a lot of rancor on the thread.. not my thread.. and I won't be discussing any of that stuff here but something to think about ?

I agree the GW issue will be critical (up here also in Canada also) ... but like any issue it can and so will be hijacked for political gain.... politics is poison and should only be handled in designated areas. Poison is better.. at least there are qualified personnel for that stuff .. :O)

>>"..will lean heavily on copper, uranium, zinc, nickel, moly and other metals in strategies to reduce reliance on burning of fossil fuels for energy".

And limestone ?

There is a Web-Page for a private company called "Greenislandenergy" (qv) that proposes to use existing infrastructure at Gold River on Vancouver Island to generate electricity from wood waste and biomass. One of my favourite penny mining speculations (DSR) prospectively could quarry the limestone required for air-pollution control. See DSR's project called "Century Limestone".

See also recent Alcan news report saying (from my memory) they will provide funds to support development of biomass and woodwaste energy throughout Canada. This NR was not related to the greenisland energy proposal.
