Big oil has way-way-way too much political power, especially inside this Bush administration. The best way to remove oil and politics is to completely deregulate the oil industry. Then the politicians can't touch it, and the oil industry has no reason to be involved in politics. If there is no government involvement in the oil industry, there is no political power for oil, and no partisan issues to discuss. I'm sure that's what Kerry would recommend, are you suddenly abandoning John?

Your attempt at running away from your position that industries should be nationalized here in the US is not working. Your most recent comments are insane... Think about it. Also remember, prices were soaring until Jeffords switched parties.
