I cant remember any real speculation on Ericsson winning the deal besides from me <g>. My thinking was just that the timing of the comment about $100 3G handsets might indicate something. Message 23196886 We`ll know at Barcelona, but I`m skeptical that the winner will come from outside the GSM Cartel. We'll find out in a week or so. The way I figure it, the operators driving this initiative are unlikely to be willing to pay a premium for a non-Qualcomm handset. OTOH, if two handsets were roughly equal, the dislike of Q might come into play.... Slacker
