If I understood you correctly, you can find $1 Million houses renting for $3500 to $4000 in your area.

That is a better ratio than California, but to meet LIG's ratio ($5K per $1Million), prices would have to fall to $700K to $800K. That is 20% to 30% below the current levels (if I read your post correctly).
