"Even McCain rejected the charges made by the Swift Boat vets."

McCain is one of kerrys best friends. Ed will tell you i am sure that there is a certain bond among vets that transcends their points of view back then--except for swiftboater types. I forgive the swiftboaters too because their exaggeration of events back then come from a frustration of being used in that war. Mark my words, 30 years from now, we will have iraqi vets who will realize that they were snookered by the admin. Some snookering and exaggeration in war is necessary for success, i guess but with some soldiers going back to iraq for the third and fourth tours, those folks have been taken advantage of. If you look at casualty lists, see how old some of these guys are. Its very easy for the right wing to shout tough shit they are volunteers --however no one volunteered to be in the reserves to be in combat with four tours in iraq.

I truly don't like either Chomsky, not John Kerry....but I have at least read many of their remarks. Have you read anything else except what the Left says of the Swift Boat Vets and POW's????
