I think Rudy has a legitimate chance, some Conservatives may not vote for him, but he shows character and inner strength, many will simply have to put aside their disagreements with some of his more liberal views to make sure the left doesn't take the big prize... GZ

You say you don't see any analogy to 1938, I find this troubling... this means you fail to see the most obvious analogy, i.e., radical moslums are spreading propaganda that America and Israel, Christians and Jews, are the sole cause of moslum problems, and they openly chant "death to America," this is exactly what happened in 1938 when only the Jews were the targets of nazi propaganda... the situation today is far, far worse, since even Americans have been intimidated by these threats... an excellent example here is the Amsterdam cartoon incident a few months ago, it's just an expression of free speech, but even American journalists were afraid to show the cartoon under the phoney excuse that it's disrespectful... that's just BS, these same journalists would have no trouble printing far more obscene words and/or images to embarrass Bush or anyone they want... today, everyone is afraid to speak out against these radical nut jobs in fear of being murdered themselves... and as long as you and others like you continue to make believe you don't see it, it will only get worse, I can guarantee it... don't you think that if bin laden had a nuclear bomb that he would have used it instead of flying a plane into a building? GZ

I cant say I have a NUMERO UNO candidate yet, I am still evalutating. But, here is what I admire about Rudy. He is a REAL MAN, a no nonsense individual who isnt gonna take any BS from anyone (to me Washington is more BS then real). LONG before 9/11 Rudy had cleaned up NYC crimewise, he had put them on a FISCALLY RESPONSIBLE PATH, and provided REAL LEADERSHIP to the city. When 9/11 came he had that PUBLIC WINDOW that DISPLAYED just what kind of a man he is. Yes, he has some THORNS in his personal behavior but truth is most of our politicians are weak kneed lilly livered cowards who sold their souls LONG AGO just to get where they are today. Rudy is NOT one of those men. If he were just a little more conservative and got off the gun control wagon I would be able to say today he is my first choice, I am still watching and waiting to see how he reacts to those points. jdn
