I burned out on Stephen King's books some time ago. Same with John Grisham.

I think once an author becomes a mass market writer, the writing often becomes formulaic. They have a contract with the publisher and have to put out X number of books in Y time. Doesn't make for a very good reading experience.

I never could read Stephen King, for the reason I said before. Too many kooks out there for real, without thinking of them while reading. I do like thrillers though. David Baldachi ??sp is good, and so is Steven Flynn...
