LOL! Poor Dems. They left whatever President, turns out it was GWB, a total mess! The market and economy started going down in March 2000. WAY before the election of Nov 2000. I was a recruiter for 20 years, and saw several downturns, but NOTHING like the one GWB inherited. Look at any of the charts, and you will see. GWB and the new Administration also inherited a total flat Military. The Budgets had been constantly cut, and we had not much equipment, nor much of anything else. Again, check and you will see that is correct. GWB and the new Administration also inherited the fall out from the previous Administration not doing anything much about terrorism AND Al Qaeda. We know that now. The murdering barbarians believed evidently that the US was so narcisstic we just didn't care and would never think of going to war against terrorists. I hate, however, that the Dems are going to inherit such a mess in terms of the war and this monstrous amount of debt just as the boomers start to draw on SS and Medicare.
