This will go on for some time.

Perhaps we can segue into, "It is clear as well that the smoking engine of liquidity is analogous to the GW processes that accompany it. and this clouds the vision of the Chinese expansion_at_any_cost advocates."

Go ahead, I double dog dare you...

I agree with both of you. It is a fantastic opportunity and a global sea change in economic expansion.

But bubbles do burst.

It is not being accompanied by a concomitant industrial and trade expansion in the G7 except in importation of Chinese domestic and industrial goods. And that did not start yesterday either. I bought a camera in 1968 that had a German name on it and it was made in Shangai. About 15 years later I bought a Japanese camera and it was stamped, "Made in China". I have been buying clothes from the Bay for 30 years that were made in China. The only think I notice is that unlike the Japanese manufacture, which got ever more high quality since the 1950's, the Chinese goods so far are not getting much better in quality. So far they have so little competition at their price points that we can afford to buy them and throw them away. I am getting a little tired of that though.
