Perry Homes funded the smearvets. Perry is a secretive Texas rightwing rich guy with a couple hundred million. He is very close to Rove and Delay and serves as their personal slush fund. After the 2004 election, the DElay Foundation (a phony corrupt charity with 100 million in corporate donations in it) annoucned they were awarding Perry Homes a 26 million dollar contract to build a single headquarters building. That was the payback, the reimbursement.

George Soros has never funded any smear campaigns or dirty tricks.

The smearvets ought to be in prison. They are political criminals working for Rove and delay. They were not vets, they were a rightwing dirty trick and total hoax.

Not a single thing they accused Kerry of (or McCain in 2000) was even remotely true. They presented no evidence but their own lies. No credible anything. They are just paid-for outright liars of Rove and Delay in the service of Bush and the oil lobby. And you are an A-hole for pretending anything else.

Contrast to the real records AWOLBUSH.com where you can compare Kerry's sterling military record (the actuial documents, vetted 1000 times without anyone ever finding anything wrong with it) and GW Bush's AWOl Guard record with its 8 months in missing records, his grounding for not takming his mandatory drug test and his request to not be sent to Vietnam. It's heroism vs. cowardice. Honesty vs. dishonest. And you're on the side of the dishonest cowards. Not to mention total hypocrites and incompetent misleaders.
