Rudy's skeletons are already out there. Remember, he ran for US Senator against Hillary, she never holds back. Rudy's most flagrant affair occurred while he was married to one of the stars of the Vagina Monologues, and his public statements were that she and he had grown apart over the years, and were living separate lives. He gets a "pass" among Republicans for dumping a feminist for a "stand-by-your-man" type, especially since he dumped her after he was diagnosed with cancer.
