That's plain old nuts. Europe would be under total control of an evil Nazi empire, and most of Asia would be under control of a brutal imperialistic regime. Even if both powers spared America, they would not let America prosper in any respect whatsoever.

Isolationism is a pipe dream. Peace does not come by avoiding conflict whenever you think it's convenient. All you end up doing is expanding the influence of those who want to do you harm.
