Liar. I heard Wayne LaPierre say Americans ought to have automatic weapons and large magazine clips. He was debating on TV with LAPD chief Bratton who firmly disagreed. I also heard the NRA's #2 on the radio say that "we're rednecks and proud of it". She was championing the ultra liberal new Florida concealed weapons law which now has felons legally permitted to carry concelaed firearms.

I suppose the hesitancy is that, like nuclear bombs, it is a weapon that is hard to sheath. But I'm for it, in conjunction with an agreement on setting emissions limits.

We ought to counter China's advantages - large, cheap labor pool - with ours - our consumers' appetite.
