What about Pakistan? They are a Muslim country, and a hell of a lot more religious than Iran, and last I checked they US was promoting them to the regional kingpin.

Mind you, I don't have anything against any of these countries at all. I am just trying to see what is your vision for Iran and how you expect to get there.

BTW, according to the latest NIE, most Americans in Iraq are killed by Sunni insurgents. Their support comes from the so called moderate Arab states who are US allies (read Saudi, Jordan, and Egypt). So how come Bush is picking on Iran and the admin is busy exchanging kisses with Saudis? You'd think if you guys were so concerned about the American lives, you'd have a man to man talk with the allies and beg them not to send ammunition for killing our troops.

How come that is not happening?
