No one who knows Iraq's history well would have recommended invasion.

That isn't true. That whole type of statement (No one who X, would Y) is frequently false and this case isn't an exception. You would probably do better to just state your opinion, rather than to try to claim that no knowledgeable person would disagree with your opinion.

Also your ignoring my point again. Whether or not the invasion was a good idea, removing Saddam from power isn't deciding what's best for the people of Iraq, its letting them decide what's best.
