That's a bit like arguing that 100 million fatalities wouldn't be so bad because it was worse during the black death of the middle ages. The truth is the global climate change is going to be more than just annoying, it's going to be very very disruptive.

Weather constantly changes; the climate has been pretty stable over the last 10,000 years. That's changed.
