Unlike Dungy, who saw himself as a Christian first and an African-American second, the MSM saw it the other way around.

I see him as a football coach first. His religion and race are unimportant to me. I don't really care if he's a female, Hindu, half Indian, half Persian, orphaned, quadripalegic dwarf! He's a good coach...

"more than anything..."

"I said it before -- Lovie Smith and I are not only the first two African-Americans, but Christian coaches showing that you can win and doing it the Lord's way. We're more proud of that."

Good stuff for a movie...

"I would like to thank Darwin for granting us the physical genes to win. Without our faith in Darwin and the science of physiology, we wouldn't have stood a chance."

Of course, that would be granting Darwin powers he never had.

Was Christ on Dugy's side? Was Christ guiding Peyton's arm?

Why did God bring forth a downpour for the entire game? That would seem to favor the Bears. Or, was that Satan?

By the way, I challenge any atheist coach out there to publicly praise Darwin whenever they win a big game. Something like, "I would like to thank Darwin for granting us the physical genes to win. Without our faith in Darwin and the science of physiology, we wouldn't have stood a chance."

I think you may be misunderstanding what Dungy is saying about winning the Christian way. Instead of screaming and cursing at his players like other coaches, he gives them positive feedback as part of his criticism of their performance. Its the same method we were taught in school. I think its a great way to get the best performance out of someone whether its a student, a player or an employee.
