Thanks. It was either before Bush was elected the first time, or shortly after his inauguration he made a statement that he was going to bring moral clarity to foreign policy. At the time he got two thumbs up from me. Little did I know what he meant by moral clarity.

If we're making money from the foreign relationship we overlook that which would disgust most Americans. If we're not making money and there's money to be made, our foreign policy is to call such behavior immoral and uncivilized. If there's no money to be made either way, who cares, it's not worth a press release.
