<The idea that war is going to be outlawed is silly.> No, your false claim that you want to see democracy flourish is what is silly. You cannot have democracy without rule of law. We have the bedrock of our law -- it is called the Constitution of the United States of America. It defines domestic law. We also enter the larger sphere of law beyond the US to govern our relations with other nation states -- international law -- and we are as capable of breaking international law as we are of breaking domestic law. Without law you have no democracy -- you have anarchy and you have dictatorship. That is what you are spreading around the world -- anarchy and dictatorship. You are destroying democracy, not defending it. Your are attacking the Constitution, not defending it. Your are dishonoring the very institutions on which this great nation was founded.
