For one, Nihilism isn't at the foundation of human secularism. "Nihilism" is one of those words that are often used to denigrate those movements you oppose. Even Nietzsche, who is generally considered to have put the 'N' in "Nihilism", often ridiculed it.

In the early 80s, I knew a born again with whom I often discussed religion. He told me once that he just didn't understand why non-believers didn't just rape, steal and murder. Now in my opinion, if he felt that way, it was a darn good thing he found religion.
