Dizzy, stop spinning. The global warming facts are in. They are conclusive. Only an Exxon paid PR BS'er would disagree. SO why are you parroting their lies? Who told you to do that? What are you scared of? Cleaner air? Not having to fight wars in the Middle East? There is no positive reason in the world to support the Exxon lies, not even for Exxon. If Exxon were smart it would tajke the lead in clean fuels tech. But it's a backward company, and very corrupt. Exxon types think they own us, our planet and our future. But they don't. In fact if they don't straighten up, we might just end up owning them.

In a system as large and complex as global climate, 2 1/2 weeks is nothing. A year is barely anything. One reason there is some doubt amongst some scientists is the suddenness of the change we're seeing. Previously, scientists believed such changes took thousands of years. But, they've been slowly changing their minds. It seems more and more that 'extinction events' happen suddenly, like the when a large asteroid hits. Which would explain the extinction; species have little time to adapt and survive.
