I am confusing nothing. You, however, are trying to offer your opinions as facts.

And, BTW, an A-10 would be a poor choice for attacking small bands of people.

After having the opportunity to read about the Posse Comatatus Law. resident Bush is specifically enjoined from acting in the manner you suggest. Only Governors have any significant portion of the powers you suggest the President holds.
