AMDs production line is 12-13 weeks from wafer start to packaged chip. They could run some rocket lots if they just want a token handful for samples but they wouldn't call that production. AMDs production ramp starts with a few wafers at very low yields and increases wafer ins slowly until they start to see progress up the learning curve, so the first few weeks don't yield many usable chips. About two months after that they will have real volume and month 6 or seven they start to get into thousands of wafers at near mature yields. I believe that Intel dedicates a lot more wafers to development than AMD runs in their early production ramp, so they are much further along when they throw the switch for "production wafers" and may even have commercial quantities of chips available from development lots. That is the luxury of "development fabs" that become production fabs when the process is deemed mature.

In any event the AMD time line has been constant for the 10 years I have followed (and owned) this stock I don't remember a single important new product that was available in any volume quicker than 6 months after they claimed that production started. Early on I expected things to ramp faster, and was disappointed. Now I just adjust my expectations.

If you are more comfortable believing that AMD can go from first production wafer starts to release in two months, but have just never done it or always lie about when they start production that is your right, but seems damn silly to me.
