"However, I think Dungy made it clear where he places the credit in his life."

So, THIS year, a christian coach won the big game! Where were you when the swearing, whoring, heathen coaches won all the other big games?

Maybe some people can, especially the atheists who claim they don't need the "crutch" of religion to be good people.

Do you consider religion a "crutch"? Like, if you suddenly had some revelation that convinced you your religious beliefs were all wrong, it would be harder for you to be a "good" person without that religious "crutch"?

I'd say kids who are raised well by their parents and taught to be good people generally end up as good people, regardless of religion. Just look at Japan - they aren't really religious at all, and they have a near zero crime level, are very respectful of others, etc. etc. Those values are their society's values, and have little to do with religion.

However, I think Dungy made it clear where he places the credit in his life.

Good for him.
