why don't u get a prescription lens for your helmet?

Cost. I have different shields - dark smoke, clear, and I'll add light smoke this spring.

The shields are relatively inexpensive - around $20 each - but they are prone to scratching. Once that happens, you need to discard them.

My eyesight is not so bad I'm required to wear corrective lenses when driving. I prefer to though, as my distance vision has deteriorated in the past 8 or so years.
