My thoughts are that the dude knew what he was getting into in the first place by enlisting...

"This guy graduated from college and then joined the Army, going to Officer Candidate school, after we had already started the Iraq campaign just to claim it was an 'illegal' war when his unit is called to go... either the Army gave a commission to an idiot not aware of current events or he planned this all along."

Sean Penn could kick your ass. He was over there in Iraq before the bombing started (and boy was he right about that war) then he was down in New Orleans the day after Katrina (and boy was he right about Bush's failure to help the people there).

Penn's not my favorite guy but he has got guts. I'd like to see you go expose yourself to death and danger like he's done. He's also very intelligent and talented. Sure he's arrogant, but so is Bush. Sean Penn would also make a much better president than Bush has though. Almost anyone would have.
