I think we are saying the same thing.

I had both eyes done but to a lesser degree in my reading eye (left) so I could go on without needing glasses at all. After a few weeks it finally dawned on me that I really didn't need my reading eye done at all, and spent a lot of money for nothing.

If Ken decides to continue to use the reading glasses, he might as well do both eyes.

I didn't have any trouble adjusting to mono vision, but some people sure do.
