Reagan supported the The Brady Bill. Nothing wrong with it. Good honest common sense moderation. But you guys spat on Reagan's grave, dissed 75% of the country that wants common sense gun laws and put yourselves above the law by corrupting and intimidating enough congressmen to stop any sane regulation. Now we have felons getting concealed weapons permits in Florida. We have regular high school massacres. We have nut cases who are afraid to fight in Iraq massing military arsenals. And we have more cops getting shot and killed by heavily armed bad guys. The country is fed up with the NRA. We all know they're dishonest fat assed extremists, but they're so corruptive and ingrained in our politics now that to it's hardly worth the effort. I guess we'll have to wait until another Reagan shooting or another Oklahoma City to get through to the NRA blockheads. As for the democrats, we're winning in the Rocky Mountain states and palces like Virginia running tough candidates who are more macho than anyone on the Republican side. In fact a typical Rocky Mountain Republican these days is Reverand Ted Haggard. They talk tough but they're sissies deep-down.
