Excellent.

I found a Corsair 16GB USB flash drive that would take about 2 1/4 hours to fill in a continuous writing stream (16 MBs) for under $200 yesterday. Sandisk advertises their Extreme IV Compact Flash cards will read and write at up to 40MBs. Lexar Lightening USB says wit will write at up to 21MBs.

How long would an IPOD take to accept 16GB of data. The price, performance and density of flash memory technology is getting there.
