She is a lot brighter than the neocon warmongering bastard Joe Klein, for sure.

Btw, can you find out under which rock this neocon warmongering bastard - Jonah Goldberg, is hiding?

Reminder: Just 1 day -- 1 more day! -- until Jonah Goldberg's "bet" with Juan Cole comes due:

"Anyway, I do think my judgment is superior to his when it comes to the big picture. So, I have an idea: Since he doesn't want to debate anything except his own brilliance, let's make a bet. I predict that Iraq won't have a civil war, that it will have a viable constitution, and that a majority of Iraqis and Americans will, in two years time, agree that the war was worth it. I'll bet $1,000 (which I can hardly spare right now)."

-- Goldberg, Feb. 8, 2005

It's not a matter, of course, of owing any money. Cole never accepted the bet.

It's a matter of owing the world an apology for so arrogantly foisting this insane war on us, and having the unmitigated gall to even offer to bet money on it.

Especially when so many others are losing so much more.
