They will get us out of Iraq and then Al Qaeda will shift to Afghanistan and then the lib's will get us out of there and then we will fight them on the streets of our cities. Why this is so hard for half our population to figure out I don't know, but there you have it.

The long and short of it my friend is that the war has gone badly. You can fight and have a decisive win, or you can have what's happening in Iraq today. Bush went to war with Iraq with no plan for it in the aftermath of the invasion. Now you have a mess. It's the president's fault. Come on, Rumsfeld stays on as Powell resigns. In retrospect, who prepared the president best for what to expect in Iraq. Rumsfeld, Cheney and the rest who insisted Iraqis would greet American troops with flowers and cheers of welcome. Or Powell who told the president in no uncertain terms, invade Iraq and you're going to own it, so prepare for that now so as to mitigate future harm to troops and America.
