I agree with your assessment. Interestingly, yesterday a female talking head (can't remember her name) referred to this astronaut as the "first Italian-American woman" to complete a space flight. They failed to mention she was the first mother of three to be in space. <g> Today's media is just nuts with their PCness so long as it suits their purpose. Then we have inartful fool like chris mathews on the Imus show using the "F" word while talking about GWB and other "ranch owning" presidents. He probably forgot about LBJ and his ranch. He also forgot about Don Imus and his ranch for handicapped kids in NM. The guy proves once more that he is an elitist idiot.
