I have a tripod for my camera. Had it for about 30 years.

It has a little quick release feature, with a small fitting that screws into the bottom of the camera, and then you pop it in a hole in the tripod and turn a knob and it tigtens it down. Without the little fitting dealie, the thing is useless.

My kid lost the fitting dealie a while back.

I went online last night and found a replacement in less than 5 minutes of searching. Ordered it and they've shipped it already.

I am so glad algore invented the internet!

Thanks M....That is a 50% saving, or a bit less with the S/H..but still.

You just pointed out how invaluable Internet has become to all of us. Instead of getting into our car, wasting gas running all over town trying to find the best product for the least amount of dollars, now we can run our fingers over the keyboard and find just about everything we need in a matter of minutes.

It is truly amazing how dependent we've become on Internet!
