Even if Bush had 1 day left in his presidency, impeachment should be done. Bush isn't the last president, his ability to get away with lying about war, attacking civil rights, undermining the US Constitution just sets up the stage for future Republicans to do more of the same...and worse. Bush is so bad and he has gotten away with so much that the Presidency now looks like just another get rich quick scheme. Republicans have so undermined the integrity of the office that it needs a wholesale steam cleaning. Ike would be aghast but Jefferson would just say...I told you so.
