I don't quite know how to express this, so please bear with me. On 9/11 America was Hysterical, and enraged. The terrorists realised that attacking America makes Americans mad, and America has big sticks and can be mean. Enraged Americans are no fun at all. Kill a bunch of people in the London Subway and the English still worry about the feelings of the Muslims. Hit America and while the pissant politicians may worry about the "feelings" of the Muslims, the American People get really pissed, and suddenly the politicians start to act like someone has poisoned their swill and someone has to die. Europeans don't get nearly as angry. So if you can scare the crap out of Americans killing Londoners and Spaniards and American soldiers, just the death toll in Iraq is enough to make Americans nuts. Look how fast Americans would abandon Israel if they kill too many terrorists. The terrorists are already in America, they are selling cigarettes they get from Indians and pocketing huge amounts of money, they are selling drugs and raising money and they are buying and selling guns to kill your children. And they are winning elections. Look at their path in Europe, America isn't ripe yet. Muslims plan years ahead. Americans plan 18 months ahead, or until the next election whichever is shorter.

I think the estimate from the CIA World facts site says there are about 1% of the US population who are Muslim. If we have a 300,000,000 population, then that means we have about 3,000,000 people who are Muslim. If only 1/2 of a percent of this group are Islamists, that's still LOTS of potential for trouble here in the US. Most especially, when we consider how few it took to cause 9-11. And don't forget Neeka, this has been going on at least since 1979, when terrorists captured 50+ US citizens who were in the Iranian Embassy, and held them for 444+ days...Don't forget all the other barbaric acts they have done, not only on 9-11, but WTC I, the 2 bombed Embassy's, the Marine Kohbar Towers, the USS Cole....etc etc. Don't think that just because it's been 5 years that the murdering barbarians have forgotten everything they have been on the loudspeakers for many years now telling the world how they will destroy America, Christians and Jews. If you think it's hard for them to implement, just drive to Seattle, and take a look around at all the Port transportation facilities, the ships, the locks, the fuel storage facilities around the area, and all the etcs.......... We are in Seattle a lot, and both of us marvel that it really is a miracle that we haven't been hit. There is NO way we could put a guard everyplace we need them. We simply have to have our citizens be alert to potential problems, and report it if we think something is wrong.
