I have been home all day with a virus--fever type--but have gotten to feel better by finishing "Brothers" and watching "House of Sand", Iktomi's favorite. I found Brothers very compelling as for me it was Biblical--Caen and Abel, Greek--Connie Nielson as Jocasta and also the story was the best portrayal I have ever seen about War Neurosis (now they call it PTSD)The acting was absolutely superb. I was about to conclude that Brothers was a guy movie and House of Sand a chick flick until the last 1/3 of ...Sand,when it became profoundly powerful and touching. Thank you Iktomi. Next I'm going to watch "Faithless" directed by Liv Ullman. Anybody seen it?
