Neeka Here in canada we have a native occupation of what was going to be a subdivision. The Natives ply the palestinians flag and claim suport from both Hizbollah and the palestinians. American and Canadian natives can cross the border simply by flashing their native ID card they are unrestricted AFAIK, and several reserves have property on both sides of the border. cnn.com They are not doing anything because of the reaction to 9/11, IMO. When they killed people in the london subway, americans reacted, but with fear not anger. When they were taking liquid explosives on airplanes from Britain, Americans reacted, but against Americans mostly, life in airports became hell. What if the reaction they are getting by attacking things outside the US, fear and inconvenience for Americans are the reactions they want. They want to be able to funnel money out of the US and into their own pockets, and they have no need to kill Americans. If they launch an attack on US soil, Americans will support George Bush and the war in Iraq/afghanistan. They need Americans to tire of the war and to stop killing terrorists. that will not be achieved by attacking the US, that can be achieved by letting CNN send home pictures of dying soldiers and horrible things from the war. American have no problem with losing the war in iraq and bringing the troops home. They will not do so if the US is attacked. So the attacks won't start until you end the war, and bring your soldiers home. That is the time to attack. Or attack the British and make Americans really afraid to take subways. Attack international flights and make Americans nutz with fear of travel. look at what you are doing on the Canadian border, soon it will be so secure that you will bankrupt upstate new York. Tourists from Canada are already going someplace else, and you have no attacks yet. Tourism in Niagara Falls Canada has dropped significantly, because of the lack of clarity in the need for passports. The first couple of years of needing a passport to enter the US will be pretty grim for American Tourism, because many Canadians who used to travel like it was home, won't get passports. So the terrorists will win without any terrorism. Think of the six imans on the plane who prayed and caused so much trouble. Everyone else had big problems, they got an apology for mounting a terror attack, and surviving. Terror is a tool, they understand that to terrorise the Americans they need to not rock the boat.
