Great article. Kinky is correct that she was a terrific writer, though, writing regular columns means she had her fair share of clunkers. People cannot be original and funny twice a week on schedule.

She was a true believer in "love the sinner, hate the sin," which I find tough to do with the Bush/Cheney crowd.

Kinky is correct that he has become much too conservative in his old age. He voted for Bush in 2004, which eventually caused me not to vote for him. Though I'm a big fan of his music.

I didn't know that Josephine Baker and Joe Hill had both danced in Paris. <VBG>

Joan of Arc was doing fine until she got into the Burgundy.
