Maybe it's a good thing for him not to have big numbers now. If these early birds get into a royal rumble, they could wear out not only each other, but also their American audience, leaving, as others here have stated, dark horses to emerge. Newt could be one of them.

I think its cause Newt has not yet announced, said he wont until September and probably never will if a candidate runs that meets his ideas of how things should be done. According to an analyst on Hannity and Colmes last night, IF Newt had been in the vote (the voted on the top 3) Newt would have come in second. As it was Rudy got 55%, Romney something like 35% and McCain only about 15% which was a surprise to me. Indicates to me a lot of independents and Democrats may have voted in the Fox poll. jdn
