The Message was clear you hit Iran and you suffer. OTOH what happened to NK? They developed and tested their nukes. What did the US do? Oh sorry, the crazy man in NK made it clear to the US that he will attack the US hence the US backed it down.

You can say that, but I hope you don't believe what you're saying.

We don't attack North Korea for several reasons, none of them due to fear.

The reasons are China, South Korea, Japan, and the poor North Korean people themselves.

North Korea is using its weapons defensively now, so we just leave them alone.

Iran, on the other hand, cannot be trusted to use its weapons defensively, so they're not going to be allowed to have nuclear weapons, period.

I don't believe that Khamenei is too stupid to realize this.

Actually it's starting to look like the crazy man might be backing down. The US got his buddies' money frozen, which upset people that he needs, and he's suddenly realizing that without foreign food his population will starve to death, instead of starving only halfway to death, as they have been doing for years now.

In Iran, also, there are indications that people with influence are starting to consider the possible consequences of their President's actions: both the Supreme Leader and the Iranian Parliament have effectively asked MA to shut up and worry about inflation and unemployment, far greater threats to Iran then the US.
