The UAE's wealth is concentrated in the hands of people who like to have "largest X in the world". Oklahoma's wealth might be less concentrated, and to the extent it is, its in the hands of people who care about other things. Oklahoma has close to as many people as the UAE, and the US GDP per person is similar to the UAE's so its no surprising that their economise are of similar size. Oklahoma also produces oil (if not as much as the UAE), but has a more diverse economy. Oklahoma has a more diverse economy. en.wikipedia.org
