I used to work as a maintenance mechanic in a mall. I learned a lot about the mall business while there. We had a lot of stores that seemed to have very little business, some seeming to have no customers at all, yet I knew we charged rent out the wazoo, a puzzlement to me.

It was revealed to me by some FBI agents that busted one of our least busy stores that mall storefronts were a favored way for illegal enterprises to launder money!
