The Soviets could not have beaten the Germans in Eastern Europe without American armaments and food, and they were glad to have it.

The Soviets certainly did not beat the Germans in Western Europe, nor the Japanese.

How odd that someone would still be touting, falsely, the virtues of the Soviets now that almost all of them have embraced capitalism and thrown Communism on the trash heap of failed ideas.

You're just a poor student of history. Your "history" probably comes from John Wayne movies, DUHlallen. But, what else is new? You were TWICE a Bush voter, after all..

Who won World War II?

news.bbc.co.uk

"Mr Falin cites figures suggesting that German forces suffered 93% of their casualties on the Soviet front and argues that this shows the Soviet contribution was decisive."

The western front was a latecomer sideshow, a diversion, AFTER the Soviets had already WON the war, at Stalingrad. Did you know that the largest armored battle in history was at Kursk, involving over 5000 armored vehicles?

Yet, you've probably never even heard of it.
