It's not bias Kumar, it's outright contempt. It's a bias like I have a bias against murderers and thieves. It's more than a bias. When they say their intention is to continue their Islamic Jihad barbarianism, I am not "biased" against them. I think they should be exterminated. Ancient "civilizations" were all barbarian Kumar. People were doomed to live like that because of the pressure of numbers and found wealth limitations in alpha male tribal control of territory in hunter gatherer dominance hierarchies. Each tribe had to have lots of children so that they could grow up to take over neighbouring tribes and territories, killing the competing males and thereby expanding their genetic success. If you watch social mammals of all sorts, there is territorial tribal warfare. Chimps do it. Your beloved "ancient civilizations" are like chimps! They do wear pants, so they are one up on chimps. But you won't find much in the way of Libertarian ideology in said "civilizations". Some of said chimpoids are still with us today. PLENTY of them. My guess is that about 70% of people can be pretty easily turned to wild enthusiasm for the ideology. You only need to watch the enthusiasm for sports to see the displacement behaviour in action. Check out the Nuremberg rallies and China's 50th celebrations for the effect in political terms. See how Romans crowded into stadiums to watch horrendously cruel "entertainment", which no doubt had the useful effect of warning anyone thinking of misbehaviour what could happen if they stepped out of line. Aztecs liked a good hacking and eating of young virgin girls' hearts. Maoris committed hideous tribal barbarities against opposition [and still do on a criminal basis, with children a specialty]. The English on the other hand brought peace, light, harmony, happiness, health, prosperity, longevity, fun and love to their happy colonies around the world. Look at the mess they are in since they took over running themselves. Ghandi for example immediately had insurrection and bulk murder and partition - the English maintained civilization there for a very long time [the odd mutiny notwithstanding]. Admittedly there were some instances where the local yokels had a hard time [euphemism for bulk murder] such as Amerindians who were shoved off their land. Okay, I'm kidding about the English being all sweetness and light. They perfected the rack, thumbscrew, hanging [not to mention drawing and quartering]. But they did end up leading the Enlightenment with people like John Stuart Mill writing "On Liberty" and ditched slavery. They brought in the idea of "Free" to replace "Serf", which was a bit of typical slimy Pommy con job, but it was an improvement. It's not surprising that around the world, the old human style pops up as a full-blown ideology from time to time. Perhaps you mistakenly think I dislike Iranians per se. Not at all. Heck, some of my best friends are Iranians, and I firmly believe they should be treated as human. For the most part anyway. Though I'm not sure about Iranian men. Like all males, they are quite smelly, hairy and ugly and most of them should be deleted. So now you can see I'm not at all racist, bigoted, or even biased. I am however sexist. Mqurice
