I agree -- however, I might argue that many democrats were seriously alienated by their party's shameful abandonment of Joe during last fall's election. I might wonder if a significant number of those folks might not pull for Sen. Lieberman.

Nevertheless, with politics set aside, a Lieberman-Gingrich ticket would be outstanding and based upon ability rather than bullshit. :^)

Joe will win all the campaign contributions from businesses pulling for lax (corruptible) accounting rules though!

(Just like his spiking of accounting reform in the early 'nineties helped to create the entire tech bubble & collapse....)
