I care about the right to dispose of my property as I see fit. Seizing it from my estate isn't OK just because I'm no longer alive.

In any case my comment was hardly limited to estate taxes, and the comment I responded to didn't refer to estate taxes.

"Heck, I still don't think that there's any way in hell Bill Gates deserves 50 billion dollars."

Bill Gates didn't inherit $50bil, or any significant fraction of that amount.
