Dubai is certainly a special case

True enough, though RAK, Fujeirah, and Sharjah seem much the same way. I was in Jordan not long ago, visiting a friend who'sa consultant on a project there, and it didn't seem totally off the beam. Neither did Turkey.

The point is that there are precedents for sanity in the Muslim world, and templates. It will take a while for sanity to spread, but pretending that it's impossible doesn't help much.

Although you have a monopoly on the gray cells market, you do not think for yourself, AIPAC does the thinking for you.
Have ever been to Lebanon? Syria? Jordan? Iran? Just to name a few. But it suits you fine to spew propaganda.
