He already developed his nukes. The US tried to stop him. Finally the US decided to sit and negotiate.

Not quite. He wanted talks with just the US. He's getting the same 6-party talks that the US has offered from the beginning, and it doesn't look like he has the advantage.

Iran is perhaps a little better off: the North Koreans are starving, the Iranians are merely facing uncontrollable inflation and soaring unemployment. Either way, nukes won't feed the people.
