Heard a brief bit of Obama's speech in Illinois on the news. Suddenly, it struck me that he sounds like a minister preaching a sermon. This was not the case when I heard an interview with him in which he was just the opposite----quiet and reflective. For all of the hype about whether he would run or not I surmise that the plan has been to run for some time. Writing a book being the prerequisite. Now there is speculation that Gore may announce he is running for the Democrat Nomination for President when he receives the Nobel Award for his book/documentary on the possibility of global warming. I do wonder what they are doing with the proceeds from the books. Are these profits seed money for their campaigns? mj
