My point being that I think you would be disappointed what figure one political party implements and you would approve of what figure the other political party campaigns on, and forget all about it after the election....

Kinda like our current tax system. So convoluted, elaborate, and just plain silly in some areas, implementing your "rich figure" would turn out to be more than a one page document after the professional politicians get through with it.

See ted's response. He thinks Gates's rich children with billions is ok yet Paris Hilton isn't. Hell of a nuance to implement don't you think?
